It is actually looking at a collection of objects and shadows that create the illusion \u2014 when seen from the wooden boy\u2019s angle \u2014 that Hans\u2019 jam is there. But it\u2019s not!<\/p>\n<p>The jam cannot bear this realization.<\/p>\n<p>No sooner does the boy see this than the jam ignites.
