Protestors pin a complaint to Martin\u2019s door. It alleges that he is an excessively sharp goat.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou yell one<\/em> wild self-accusation,\u201d Martin mutters.<\/p>\n But he can\u2019t keep a little smile from his face.<\/p>\n To think it! Him! Martin! A goat!<\/p>\n He crumbles the protest note. He tosses it in the garbage. Unfortunately Jane frequently reads and\/or eats things found in the garbage. A dispute arises.<\/p>\n \u201cI am no longer even sure what a goat and what isn\u2019t is,\u201d Jane says.<\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019re like,\u201d Martin says, and he gestures vaguely. \u201cThey\u2019re like goat impersonators, only less so.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBah!\u201d says Jane, dismissively.<\/p>\n \u201cYou use a stone,\u201d Martin says. \u201cRight?\u201d<\/p>\n He holds a stone to his forehead. He impersonates a duck.<\/p>\n (It\u2019s a stone of impersonating farmyard animals.)<\/p>\n \u201cAnd that\u2019s a goat,\u201d Jane says.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s a duck!\u201d Martin says, reverting. \u201cBut a comparatively goat-like one.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI am going to go empty the contents of a troll\u2019s stomach,\u201d says Jane. \u201cUnless that\u2019s not even a real troll.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019re a real troll!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI bet this isn\u2019t even Ipswich,\u201d says Jane, sulkily, and storms out.<\/p>\n After a while Martin puts the stone on his forehead again. He impersonates an excessively sharp goat. He wanders around the apartment, bleating and cutting things.<\/p>\n It isn\u2019t addictive.
