This proves to be a mistake! He is drawn into a terrible pain dimension.<\/p>\n<p>What a bad Mr. Jenkins! That wasn\u2019t what ought to have happened to him at all.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Higgins acts almost as unwisely. But <em>this <\/em>time,  the departure is observed! Ms. Cloud sees him. She lifts her hand to her mouth in horror.<\/p>\n<p>Then she goes and she fetches the janitor, Jeremiah Clean.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have a situation,\u201d she tells him.<\/p>\n<p>She drags him away from his contemplation of the smooth clean floor of their Zen garden. She drags him past the Mondrian he has scrubbed down to a single sheet of red. The server room door slams before they walk past it; the techies know better than to ever let Jeremiah Clean look in.<\/p>\n<p>They hurry through the halls.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPerhaps,\u201d says Jeremiah Clean, as they wait for an elevator, \u201cwe would not have \u2018situations,\u2019 if something could be done about Mr. Evans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s not the problem here,\u201d says Ms. Cloud.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhere he walks,\u201d says Jeremiah Clean, \u201cthe walls start bleeding. It is very untidy. I believe he has damned most of our company\u2019s HR.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not defending Mr. Evans!\u201d she says.<\/p>\n<p>They go up. They hurry through more halls. They are rapidly approaching the refrigerator.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m just saying,\u201d she says, \u201cthat the problem is Monday\u2019s sushi, today.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is Tuesday,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPerhaps,\u201d he says, \u201cyou mean to say \u2018the problem is that which once <em>was<\/em> Monday\u2019s sushi, but is Tuesday\u2019s sushi, on this modern day, instead.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSometimes I think,\u201d Ms. Cloud says, \u201cthat you are overly particular.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He frowns.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut in this case,\u201d she says. \u201cIt may be just what this company needs. Listen, Jeremiah. It shouldn\u2019t have gone bad. Not this fast. Not this soon. It was supposed to be tuna, you see. Safe, ordinary tuna. Good old tuna! But I think it was not tuna. I think it was made from a Tuna Horror. Do you understand me? A Tuna Horror. The \u2018devil of the sea.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jeremiah has stopped moving. He is laughing. She has to wait him out. He is laughing. \u201c\u2018Overly particular,\u2019\u201d he says.<\/p>\n<p>She waves it off.<\/p>\n<p>He looks back up at her, and his eyes are clear and bright. \u201cTuna or devil,\u201d he says, in calmness, \u201cit is all the same to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There is a rising tide of chaos across the world; the incidents are become ever more outr\u00e9; but not in America.<\/p>\n<p>In America, there is the Patriot Missile; and the Lion of the Dominion; and the living spirit of Uncle Sam, and they defend it \u2014 but most importantly of all, there is Jeremiah Clean.<\/p>\n<p>He disposes of the sushi beast, and it does not devour him, because his heart is pure.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Later.
